For the first time, ALDI supermarkets ran an online promotion as part of its annual Easter sales activity. The campaign run in stores across numerous customer touch points, as well as being featured in the weekly catalog. Products featured in the catalog needed to be photographed in a style to reflect the quality of the chocolate, but also the fun and excitement associated with the Easter egg hunt. Graphics from the packaging of the house brand products were incorporated into the point-of-purchase graphics and catalog spreads throughout the campaign to maximize recognition, recall and ultimately sales.
